Site work and paving for a civil project in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Work generally consists of retrofitting two stormwater biofilters within two different parking lots, and constructing a dry stormwater pond within a lawn area. This work includes removing pavement, excavation for the biofilters, storm sewer, backfilling, concrete curb and gutter, concrete flumes, cobblestone rip rap, asphalt patching, grading, and restoration work. Bids will be received on a lump sum basis for each stormwater improvement. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, a certified check, or a bank cashier's check as bid security, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the Moraine Park Technical College as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a Contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured within fifteen (15) days of the award of Contract. Should any bid be rejected, such bid security will be forthwith returned to the bidder, and should any bid be accepted, such bid bond or check will be returned upon the timely and proper execution and securing of the Contract. In case the successful bidder shall fail to execute the Contract and Performance Bond, the amount of the bid bond or check shall be forfeited to the Moraine Park Technical College as liquidated damages. Contractor is required to submit the Bidder's Prequalification Statement to the Owner by January 31, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. CST (2 business day prior to the bid opening). Prequalification statements must be either emailed or delivered to Mr. Roy Marquez at the following addresses with the project number and title identified within the correspondence: email rmarquez3@morainepar k.edu or delivered to Room C-131 at the Owners address. The Moraine Park Technical College reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality in bidding, or accept the bid(s) which serves the best interest of the College. Questions regarding this project are due by January 25, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. CST. Questions should be directed to Mr. Roy Marquez, Director of Facilities, Moraine Park Technical College.
