The City of Lakeland Is Seeking Bids From Qualified Contractors for a New Generator Step-up Transformer, GSU, That Encompasses Design, Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Assembly, Factory Testing, Packing, Shipment DDP Jobsite to Support Six (6) Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engine Generators (Rice) Totaling Approximately 120 Net Megawatts (MW) to Be Installed at the C.d. Mcintosh Jr. Power Plant (Mcintosh Plant) Brownfield Site Located at 3030 E Lake Parker Drive, Lakeland, FL 33805. The McIntosh Power Plant is located in Polk County, Florida just northeast of Lakeland on the northeast shores of Lake Parker. The Bids Submitted and the Purchase Order Contract, if Awarded, Shall Be in Complete Accordance With, Without Limitation, This Invitation to Bid, Drawings and Specifications Attached, All Codes, Requirements and Regulations Referenced Therein. SELLER shall design, manufacture, furnish, shop assemble, inspect, test, paint, prepare for shipping, preserve during shipment and storage at site, and delivered duty paid (DDP) plant location one (1) new generator step-up transformer including offloading, setting and aligning the transformer to the foundation pad, field assemble looseshipped pieces, process SELLER supplied oil and fill the transformer, and field test the installed transformer. The work shall include all necessary and/or usually supplied equipment and appurtenances for the safe, efficient, and convenient operation of thetransformer within the scope of this specification whether or not such items are specifically referred to in this.
