Subcontractor proposals will be received by the Construction Manager/Constructor, for the work identified below in accordance with proposal documents and such addenda thereto as may be issued prior to the date of the proposal submission. Durotech, Inc. is the Construction Manager/Constructor for this project. All references made to the "Contractor" or "General Contractor" in these documents shall be understood to mean the "Construction Manager/Constructor". All bids must be in the hands of the Construction Manager no later than the specified time and date. Bids may be sealed and marked on the outside of the envelope with the name of the project. Faxed, e-mailed and telephoned bids will also be accepted. No Bid shall be withdrawn within ninety (90) days after opening of bids without consent of the Owner/Construction Manager. The Owner/Construction Manager reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the proposal. A decision concerning award of contracts will be made as soon as practicable Payment & Performance Bonds: Each subcontractor will provide the cost of a payment and performance bond as a separate line item on the proposal form. Subcontractors to provide insurance as required by the Construction Manager. See attached sample insurance certificate. Not less than the prevailing rates of wages shall be paid on the project in conformity with the laws of the State of Texas.
