Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Wilmington, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
The scope of work consists of Historic Window Repairs at Community Arts Center Replace and/or repair missing or damaged window components including, but not limited to, sills, jambs, casings, headers, sashes, and frames Sand and repair sashes and surrounding wood. Fill with approved epoxy, replace missing and broken pieces with wood "Dutchman" patches, stabilize and sand. Replace broken lites and glaze all lites in panes requiring repair. Install new glazing compound and allow to cure 2-3 days before painting. Apply Primer as necessary and according to industry standards, brushed on. Exterior of Windows: Apply two coats of matching paint. Paint shall cover glazing compound. Product: Sherwin Williams Duration Super White gloss As such, the City is seeking services to inspect fifty-five (55) and repair twelve (12) identified damaged historic exterior windows located at the Community Arts Center, 120 S 2nd Street, Wilmington, NC.
