Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Surrey, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Seismic Retrofit of existing Nicomekl River Bridge No. 02159 W (southbound structure) on Highway No. 99. Construction of new bridge jump spans extended on both ends of southbound structure. Project includes installation of new connection brackets between timber piers and concrete deck, installation of drilled steel pipe casings with infilled concrete close to north and south abutments, excavation of existing fill behind abutments, placement of backfill and roadway construction. The Site is located on Highway No. 99, approximately 750 m south of King George Boulevard interchange in the City of Surrey, BC. Landmark Kilometre Inventory Segment 2901, 32.16 km Nicomekl River Bridge 02159W Southbound END. Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca. Construction documents for this project are copyright of the Province of British Columbia.
