The City of Topeka is seeking bids for vehicle exhaust upgrades for Fire Stations in the following locations. Locations are Fire Stations #1 (NE Quincy), #2 (SE 6th & Rice Rd.), #4 (SW Clay), #5 (SW 21st & Western), #6 (NE Seward), #7 (SW Oakley) , #8 (SW 27th & Fairlawn), #9 ( SE 29th), #10 ( SW 37th), #11 (NW Lower Silver Lake Rd), and #12 (SW Urish). The Work is as follows: 1. Remove existing vehicle exhaust system along with associated ductwork and track system at each fire station and patching roof and/or wall penetrations left from the removal. 2. Install one or more new Airvac Model 911 Exhaust Removal Units along with controller, magnetic door switches, vehicle ignition wireless transmitters & receivers and photoelectric eyes to detect vehicle movement in each fire station. 3. The number of Exhaust Removal Units required at each fire station is as follows: 1 unit - #1 & #6; 2 units - #3, #7, #9 & #10; 3 units - #2, #4, #8 & #12; 5 units - #11; 6 units - #5. All bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid (including alternates), made payable to the City of Topeka, Kansas. The original bid security shall be in the office of Contracts and Procurement before the 2:00 closing date The amendments are just change notifications and not official addendum.
