Renovation of a mixed-use development in Topeka, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR UNITS OF WORK: Project consists ofreplacing existing lighting and providing new lighting fixtures in the Holliday buildings parking garage and exterior and the Code compliance buildings exterior. Refer to plans and specifications prepared by PKMR Engineers. BID SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: All bids must be accompanied by a cashiers check or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid (including alternates), made payable to the City ofTopeka, Kansas. The original bid security shall be in the office ofContracts and Procurement before the 2:00 closing date. SUBMITTAL: Bid Submittal requirements are explained in the Instructions to Bidders. NOTIFICATION OF MINORITY AND WOMAN BUSINESS ENTERPRISES (MBE/WBE): Bidders shall take note ofrequirements for notification of MBEs and WBEs as stated in paragraph 24 of the Instruction to Bidders.
