Renovation of a municipal facility in Bracebridge, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The District Municipality of Muskoka (District) is inviting prospective bidders to submit bids for the supply and installation of an emergency and standby power generator for the Provincial Offences Act (POA) office located at 76 Pine Street in Bracebridge, Ontario. The primary purpose of this project is to provide 100% emergency and standby back up power supply to the POA Facility. There will also be a provision for some supplementary emergency power back up for some electrical panels within the District offices located at 70 Pine Street, Bracebridge which are also to be included within the scope of work. Power interruptions at 76 Pine Street will require the contractor to submit the specified application with date and duration as noted in the bid documents and be scheduled according to services offered within these buildings during the construction period. Noisy or disruptive work cannot impede daily business operations within facilities. The project is expected to be awarded to the successful Bidder by the end of March 2022 with agreements signed and equipment shop drawings reviewed and approved by end of April 2022. Completion of electrical rough in, civil and structural scopes of work are to be completed by August 1st, 2022. Generator installation and commissioning is to be completed by the end of fall 2022.
