The District Municipality of Muskoka is inviting bidders to submit bids to complete the Pines LTC Home Emergency Generator System Upgrade. The Pines is located at 98 Pine Street Bracebridge, Ontario. The purpose of this project is to provide 100% back up power to the Long Term Care Facility. This will be achieved by the replacement of the existing main building generator. There will be modifications to existing infrastructure to enable redundant power for the support of critical systems between the main building and the 2013 additional generator. The project is to be awarded to a successful proponent by mid March 2022 with an anticipated start of work in April 2022 and completion of work and occupancy by end of January 2023.
