Demolition, site work, new construction and addition to a mixed-use development in Milltown, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,740-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; for the addition of a 1,275-square-foot, one-story above grade parking garage; for the demolition of a parking garage; and parking garage.
The project consists of a two buildings: a New Town Hall and a Garage Addition. The New Town Hall is a 2740 square foot single story wood framed building on a concrete foundation. The construction consists of a cast-in-place concrete frost foundation, concrete slab on grade, wood framed walls, wood roof trusses, metal roof, prefinished engineered wood siding, drywall, painting, flooring, doors, windows, casework, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and earthwork. There is no asphalt paving. The Garage Addition is a 1275 square foot single story pole building addition onto an existing 3660 square foot pole building. The construction consists of a thickened edge concrete slab on grade, pole building with metal roofing and siding, plumbing, HVAC and electrical. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 7 calendar days after the award of the contract. BIDDER is required to deliver the original bid bond within the 72 hours of bid opening to MSA Professional Services, Inc., Attn: Al Szymanski, 1230 South Blvd, Baraboo, Wisconsin 53913. The bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. Performance and Payment Bonds for the full contract amount shall be required from the successful Bidder. Prequalification of bidders will not be required. Bidders to whom award of a Contract is under consideration shall submit to Architect, upon request, a properly executed AIA Document A305 Contractor's Qualifications Statement. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 15 calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive any informalities in the bids received, and to accept any proposal which they deem most favorable to the interests of the Owner.
