Bid prices are irrevocable for a period of 120 days following bid opening. After opening bids, the Procurement Officer may request bidders to extend the time during which the State may accept their bids, provided that, with regard to bids, no other change is permitted. If the work is not completed within the time period specified, the contractor will be liable for liquated damages of $250.00 per calendar day as specified in the "General Conditions". The deadline for questions has been established as Friday January 28, 2022, at 12:00 PM, to assure that there is enough time to allow the A/E to provide responses and Addendum issuance if necessary. The Contractor is to provide the complete cost to perform the items as outlined in all sections
of this scope of work to remove & replace the floor tile at two locations in the south-east
corridor adjacent to the restrooms. The first location is an approximately 2' wide by 12'
long section of the red colored 6" x 6" quarry tile, shown in the pictures above. The second
location is an approximately 2' wide by 8' long section of the beige colored 6" x 6" quarry
tile, shown in the pictures above. Contractor is to include patching, leveling and any basic
anticipated prep of the tile's concrete substrate, needed prior to the new tile installation Item #2- Unit Cost No. 1: (4) SF Total
The Contractor is to provide a price per square foot for (1), 4 SF area of additional ceramic
floor tile to be replaced. Location to be determined. This unit cost is to include the
complete cost to perform the items as outlined in all sections of this scope of work and is to
include patching, leveling and all basic anticipated prep of the tile's concrete substrate,
needed prior to the new tile installation.
