Site work for a road / highway in Parsippany, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The project consists of the installation of image detection hardware and traffic signal maintenance for the intersection of Littleton Road (US 202) & Rita Drive/Beachwood Road, and the installation of a new controller, uninterruptible power system, auxiliary generator cabinet, and traffic signal maintenance for the intersection of Jefferson Road & Smith Road. A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills, or a duly executed bid bond in the amount of 10% of each bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00, must be deposited by the bidder together with a Certificate of Surety evidencing that he can obtain the required Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the contract. The successful bidder shall be required to deliver to the Township an executed Performance Bond of the responsible indemnity company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. In lieu of a Certificate of Surety, the bidder shall submit, at the bid opening, a certified check or cashier's check in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the bid. The Township of Parsippany Troy Hills reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the proposal received and award a contract to the lowest responsible bidder as required by N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4. The Township further reserves the right to consider all bids for sixty (60) days after the bid opening before awarding a contract.
