Site work and paving for a road / highway in Pierce, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Pierce, Nebraska is accepting bids for approximately 10,124 sq. yds. of asphalt street repair. This project will consist of two parts. "Part A" will consist of six continuous blocks of 'chip seal' consisting of approximately 6,703 sq. yards of double armor coating. Each coating of armor coating shall consist of MC 3000 asphalt applied at the rate of .30 gallons per square yard followed by one coat of 3/8 red rock chips uniformly distributed and rolled at the minimum rate of 26 lbs. per square yard. The Contractor will provide the red rock. The City is requesting that the cost per ton for the red rock and patch material be listed separate on the bid. "Part B" will consist of approximately 3,421 sq. yards of single armor coating within Gilman Park located in close proximity to "Part A". Armor coating shall consist of MC 3000 asphalt applied at the rate of .30 gallons per square yard followed by one coat of armor coat gravel uniformly distributed and rolled at a minimum rate of 30 lbs. per square yard. The City will provide the gravel. The City is requesting that the cost per ton for the patch material be listed separate on the bid. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any or all bidding informalities or irregularities.
