The project is expected to be awarded on March 8, 2022.** The Project consists of: The furnishing of all supervision, labor, materials and equipment necessary to remove and install fencing as specified herein. The contractor shall field verify all dimensions prior to fabrication or purchase of equipment, materials and assemblies. The District plans to install approximately 3,400 linear feet of chain link fencing to match and tie into existing chain link and black metal fencing materials. Two additional sets of entry gates (each set comprised of 2 chain link gate panels of 10' each totaling 20' width) will be built into the chain link fence using similar material; the finished product should provide a full boundary around the perimeter of the property boundaries. Barbed wire fencing on District property to be removed. All corral and paddock fencing to remain as-is. (See Bid Package: Plans & Specifications for further details.) Chain link specifications require a minimum 2-inch, 9-gage, galvanized steel, chain link fabric fencing; maximum height 6 feet high with galvanized steel pipe posts, minimum 2-3/8" OD line posts and 2-7/8" OD corner and pull posts with 1-5/8" OD top and bottom rails. Provide galvanized steel bases for supporting posts. Wind screen fabric is green; all posts are capped. All new chain link and fencing material is to match the existing. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California contractors' license(s): C-13 Fencing Contractor. Any bid that is submitted after this time shall be nonresponsive and returned to the bidder. Any claim by a bidder of error in its bid must be made in compliance with section 5100 et seq. of the Public Contract Code. The eastern edge of the property currently contains approx. 1,135 linear feet of existing fence material (e.g., wood, black privacy screen, etc.). That fence material will be removed by the neighboring property owner ahead of the installation of this fence project
