Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kaleva, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
For Water System Improvements Contract 1 - Distribution System The Project includes the construction of approximately 7,000' of watermain installed via direct bury and approximately 2,700' of watermain via directional drilling, along with associated water services. Open cutting, pipe tie-ins, and associated site restoration will be executed throughout construction. Necessary control measures and dewatering will also be implemented. Road reconstruction includes removals and placement of HMA paving, subbase materials, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, and driveways. Prevailing wage requirements apply to the entire contract. USDA Rural Development Funding: Pertains to the water distribution facilities constructed within public street right of ways. EGLE DWRF Funding: Pertains to the construction of water services and subsequent Work outside the public street right of way on private property Contract No. 1 prevailing wage requirements on Contract 1 only, due to DWRF Funding
