Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hayes Township, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of April 212023 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded next week.** For the following approximate quantities of work: 0.82 miles of roadway rehabilitation, including tree removal, embankment, CIP, excavation, earth, aggregate base, HMA crushing and shaping, aggregate shoulder, culverts, HMA pavement, HMA sloped curb, concrete curb and gutter, permanent signage and pavement markings, and slope restoration. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, money order, or bid bond, in the amount of at least five (5) percent of the amount bid, drawn payable to the Charlevoix County Road Commission, as security for the proper execution of the Agreement. Charlevoix County Road Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bids should it consider same to be in its best interest. This project is funded by a Federal Highway Safety Grant and Tribal Transportation Federal Road dollars. Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates apply.
