Renovation of a municipal facility in West Palm Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,100-square-foot municipal facility.

The Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County requests interested parties to submit Sealed Bids for performing all work in connection with the Administration Building Patio Renovation Improvements. The proposed work will be contracted to a licensed Florida General Contractor and consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required to construct as detailed in the contract documents. The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: The Scope of Work generally involves the conversion of approximately 1,100 square feet of unfinished floor space on the first floor of the Administration Building into finished office space for Authority staff. The unfinished area is referred to in the Contract Documents as the "Patio Area". The work is located in Palm Beach County, Florida. The site address is 7501 N. Jog Road, West Palm Beach, FL 33412. The work generally involves the conversion of approximately 1,100 square feet of unfinished floor space on the first floor of the Administration Building into finished office space for AUTHORITY staff. This unfinished area is referred to in the Contract Documents as the "Patio Area". The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: A. Obtaining all required building permits and approvals prior to construction, including but not limited to, the City of West Palm Beach Building Department and Fire Marshal. The CONTRACTOR is responsible for payment of all permit application fees, including any fees associated with issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy if any. B. Demolition and removal of certain walls, doors, windows, screens, floor and ceiling systems, and electrical and mechanical equipment in the existing Patio Area as shown onthe Contract Drawings. C. Demolition and removal of ramps, stairs, handrails and other non-structural exterior building features as shown on the Contract Drawings. D. Construction of concrete stairs and sidewalk, and civil site grading on the exterior of the Administration Building as shown on the Contract Drawings and specified in the Technical Specifications. E. Construction of new walls and ceiling and floor systems, and installation of new doors, windows, HVAC systems, and electrical equipment and wiring in the renovated Patio Area as shown on the Contract Drawings and specified in the Technical Specifications. Installation of interior office partition walls to be provided and installed by the AUTHORITY's modular furniture vendor, J.C. White, as part of the work of this project. F. Design of a fire protection sprinkler system and extension of the existing Administration Building sprinkler system into the renovated Patio Area. G. Connection of new electrical, fire alarm and HVAC control systems to existing Administration Building systems as shown on the Contract Drawings and specified in the Technical specifications H. Installation of conduit and wiring to allow AUTHORITY vendors to supply and install security, data and telephone systems to the renovated Patio Area and to connect those systems to existing Administration Building systems The Contract Time for completion of this project is anticipated to be 180 calendar days to Substantial Completion and 210 calendar days to Final Completion Location- 7501 N Jog Rd West Palm Beach, FL 33412 The last day to submit questions is February 6, 2022;
