The city of Naperville Water Utilities is seeking the services of a qualified vendor to provide bulk Sodium Bisulfite in 40% solution for use at the Springbrook Water Reclamation Center (SWRC), located at 3712 Plainfield-Naperville Road, Naperville, IL 60564. No exceptions or "equivalent" products will be considered. Bid Bond No bid bond required. All questions concerning this bid shall be submitted in writing at least five business days prior to the online bid opening to Bryn Wildman at wildmanb@naperville.il.us. The deadline for questions is Monday, January 24, 2022 by 12:00 p.m. If required, a written response in the form of an addendum will be issued. No contact with the Water Utilities shall be made during the bid process. Questions asked after the deadline are not guaranteed a response. When noted in the specifications, the City reserves the right to require the successful bidder to supply a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Bond within ten (10) calendar days of acceptance of the bidder's proposal by the City. The bonds, unless otherwise specified by the Purchasing Manager, shall be 100% of the total contract price. A cashier's check or a certified check. For construction projects the bid deposit shall be in an amount equal to at least 10% of the amount of the bid. Bid prices submitted by suppliers for this bid shall be in effect for the period of April 1, 2022 through December 31, 2023 (21-month contract term).
