Renovation of a mixed-use development in Flagler Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
As of February 7, 2022, the project was awarded to AWS Roofing. Bid amount received is $83,830.83. Pre-Bid Questions Due: Monday, January 24, 2022 5:00 pm The project consists of site mobilization and demobilization; removal of existing roof material down to the existing wood decks of the main building and the lower walkway roofs. Project also includes replacement of wood decks, replace all metal drip edges and flashing, replace fascia boards, replace perforated metal soffits, remove the existing brick chimney and patch opening and other miscellaneous items. See plans for all specifications and details. Upon award, the successful bidder will also be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory contract one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Construction Bonds to be recorded by the bidder, with the Clerk of the Court, Flagler County, Florida and to enter into a contract for services with the City of Flagler Beach. No bids received after the time and date specified for the opening will be considered. The City of Flagler Beach, Florida reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all non-substantial irregularity in bids received, whenever such waiver or rejection is in the best interest of the City. All questions relative to an interpretation of specifications or the bid process may be submitted by email to: poverstreet@cityofflaglerbeach.com. Include the bid number in the subject line. The project consists of removal of all trim work (salvage to be reused as is practical); removal of twenty-five single hung windows and their movement mechanisms; removal of 1 set of exterior double doors; two single doors; 2 sidelights; 2 transoms. Replace all the above with equal number of doors, sidelights and transoms with impactresistant, low E glazing; add all blocking and shims necessary to fit components into the existing rough openings; replace all trim material that was salvaged in the demolition or replace with treated wood (exterior) and Grade C select pine (interior) at sizes to match existing; repair interior and exterior plaster where damaged by demolition or installation; paint all new surfaces to match existing; and all other incidental work as shown on the Drawings and as specified herein
