**As of March 7, 2022 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award will be on March 11th. The Gadsden Independent School District, is requesting competitive sealed bids for the construction of Berino Elementary School, HVAC Replacement. Gadsden Independent School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or cancel this RFP in its entirety. The Design Professional estimate of probable construction cost is: $ 1,075,248 + NMGRT *(Note: Does not include NM Gross Receipts Tax) Berino Elementary School HVAC Replacement: Work of this contract is for the Anthony Elementary School Improvements - HVAC replacement. Including the removal of Lennox hvac equipment, associated ductwork, and electrical connections (approx. 23 - v.i.f.). Removal of bypass ductwork from previous constant volume system. Installation of new Trane HVAC equipment, ductwork, and electrical connections to connect to existing EMS controls (aprox. 23 - v.i.f.). Installation of duct smoke detectors on units that require it and connect to existing fire alarm system. Adjustment, rotation, and relocation of multiple units to comply with current code requirements and associated roof repair work and curb placement due to unit relocation - to maintain current roof warranty which will require 3rd party test & balance and recommissioning. In additional, hvac control interfaces and variable airflow - Trane to provide architecture control diagrams, and sequence of operations. This will require ceiling work due to unit relocation and bypass duct work. This list is not all inclusive.
