This project consists of the replacement of seven existing passenger boarding bridges at Syracuse Hancock International Airport. This Bid Package includes removal and disposal of the existing passenger boarding bridges and the installation of the new passenger boarding bridges, including all specified Ground Service Equipment and accessories, modifications or upgrades to the existing Electrical, Fire Alarm and Telecommunications systems as required to service the new passenger boarding bridges. The Bid Package encompasses work to be provided under two separate contracts, a General Construction contract and an Electrical Construction contract. Bidders may submit proposals for either or both contracts. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Any questions regarding bidding of this project shall be submitted through the Bid Express Services Platform. All RFI's must be submitted no later than Thursday, February 10th by 4:00 pm and responses will be posted by Tuesday, February 15th to Bid Express and the Syracuse Regional Airport Authority website. Any necessary addendum to this project will be posted to Bid Express and the Syracuse Regional Airport Authority website as well as this advertisement.
