Saving Project...

Renovation of a municipal facility in San Rafael, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The project entails the installation of a generator connection enclosure, and related electrical infrastructure equipment at the location, in order to connect a portable generator to the facility during power outages. The Engineer's estimated cost for the accomplishment of this work is $350,000. A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount payable to the County of Marin shall accompany the Proposal. The Contractor shall possess a valid Class "C10" Electrical License at time of bid submittal. Questions concerning the Bid should be submitted via Bid Express no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2022. Inquiries or questions based on alleged patent ambiguity of the plans, specifications or estimate must be communicated as a bidder inquiry prior to opening. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. Wage and equipment rental rates as determined by the State of California are listed in the Department of Transportation publications entitled "General Prevailing Wage Rates," issued monthly, and "Labor Surcharges and Equipment Rental Rates," issued semi-monthly.
