INTRODUCTION The City of Rockville is seeking an experienced contractor to provide water treatment services for boilers, cooling towers, and closed loop systems for City of Rockville facilities. SCOPE OF WORK Contractor shall provide water treatment services for boilers, cooling tower, closed loop chilled and hot water systems for City of Rockville facilities with the objective to reduce circulating system degradation and maintain circulatory system health. Contractor shall supply all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and technical expertise necessary for the prevention and control of corrosion, sediment, fungus, algae, bacteria and freeze protection (glycol) where applicable, for the boilers, cooling tower, closed loop chilled and hot water systems. Upon satisfactory service and by mutual agreement the City reserves the right to renew the contract. The term of renewal shall not exceed TWO (2) additional one (1) year periods through June 30, 2025.
