All questions must be submitted no later than Monday, 7 February 2022 by 4:00 pm. Providing all supervision, labor, materials and equipment required to execute the Work described in the Drawings and Specifications entitled "Memorial Auditorium Commercial Kitchen for the City of Chattanooga Department of Education, Arts and Culture, 399 McCallie Avenue, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37402", Architect's Project No. 7063.1, Drawings and Addenda dated 6 December 2021 through 6 January 2022, prepared by Franklin Associates, Architects, Inc., 142 North Market Street, P.O. Box 4048, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37405. For subcontractors, vendors and suppliers, the Pre-Bid Conference will be non-mandatory, but those parties interested in bidding are advised to attend. In keeping with C DC COVID-19 guidelines, all attendees are expected to wear face masks. The Architect is Franklin Associates, Architects, Inc. Bids will be accepted from the following Invited General Contractors: Company DBS Corporation EMJ Corporation J&J Contractors, Inc. T.U. Parks Construction Co. Bid Bonds, Performance Bonds and Payment Bonds will not be required. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days from bid date. The Contract Form will be AIA Document A101 as issued by the American Institute of Architects, compatiblewith 2017 AIA A201 General Conditions. Access to the site will be limited. Bidders will be permitted access to the site, as mutually scheduled with the Owner and under the conditions to be established by the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to waive all informalities in the bids received, and to accept any bid which, in its opinion, may be in the best interest of the Owner. Subcontractor, Vendor and Supplier bidders shall direct all questions to the invited General Contractor Bidders, not directly to the Architect or the Consulting Engineers. The invited General Contractor Bidders shall determine the need for answers from the Architect and the Architect's Consultants, and shall, if necessary, direct questions to Jim Fisher, Franklin Associates, Architects, Inc., (423) 266-1206, jfisher@franklinarch.com, who will distribute questions to consultants as needed. All questions must be submitted no later than Monday, 7 February 2022 by 4:00 pm. The Owner or Architect shall not be obligated to respond to questions submitted after the stated deadline.
