Renovation of an educational facility in Kingston, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
This Request for Quotations (the "RFQ") is an invitation by the Limestone District School Board (the "Board") to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Masonry Repair and Window Replacement at Elginburg Public School, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). Quotations will only be accepted from general contractors who have prequalified as per the Board's Request for Supplier Qualifications #12-17 - General Contractors. The scope of work includes for the removal and replacement of the existing brick cladding on the south elevation with new foundation and brick veneer. The building envelope renewal includes replacement of the existing main entrance door and all existing windows on the facing elevation with new aluminum doors, frames and windows. In addition, the project also includes the replacement of existing BUR roofing and metal cladding on the main entrance canopy with new modified bituminous membrane roofing and metal flashings. Finally, the project includes masonry repairs on the remainder of the building envelope as indicated and landscaping improvements at the main entrance.
