Renovation of an educational facility in Van Buren, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
A cashier's check, drawn upon a bank or trust company doing business in Arkansas, or acceptable bid bond payable to the Van Buren Public Schools, in an amount not less than 5 percent of the total Base Bid must accompany each bid in excess of $25,000.00 as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into the contract and execute forms contained in the Project Documents within 10 days after the notice of award. The Van Buren Public Schools reserves the right to reject any and all bids and any nonconforming bid and to award the contract in a period of time not exceeding 60 days from the Bid opening date. Bids shall remain firm for that period. The Van Buren Public Schools hereby notifies that minority business enterprises will be afforded equal opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, age, religion, or national origin in consideration for an award.
