I. PURPOSE: The purpose and intent of this Quick Quote is to conduct a solicitation for a five (5) year contract to provide Hay Harvesting of 41.1 approximate acres (Fields 1, 2, 3, 4 )as shown on Map-Attachment B, on Natural Tunnel State Park, 1420 Natural Tunnel Parkway, Duffield, Virginia 24244. The Contractor shall use generally accepted farming practices that are good for the environment and the farmer. All hay shall belong to the Contractor to use or sell at his or her discretion. Please refer to the detailed scope below and attachments for the project general site areas. II. SCOPE OF WORK: Under the guidance of staff from the Department of Conservation & Recreation's Virginia State Parks, contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, seed, chemicals to harvest hay on approximately 41.1 acres of land on the grounds of Natural Tunnel State Park, 1420 Natural Tunnel Parkway, Duffield, Virginia 24244. Scott County. Any change in cutting time per below must be authorized in advance and in writing, by the park manager or designee.
