Questions from Proposer January 24, 2022 by 3 p.m. City Response to Questions from Proposers January 31, 2022 Notice to Proceed (tentative) February 28, 2022 Final Delivery (tentative) October 30, 2022 The City of Hayward (City) is requesting proposals (RFP) for roadway safety and transportation engineering services. The Local Roadway Safety Plan (LRSP) will be funded with Local and State funds requiring the Consultant to follow all applicable local, State, and Federal laws and regulations. Because DBE contract goals are not required for state-only funded contracts, DBE participation is not required for this project, however, it is encouraged. The Consultant shall meet the appropriate minimum qualifications as required by this contract. The performance period is no greater than eight (8) months, with a project schedule determined by the City and the select consultant. The proposals submitted in response to this RFP will be used as a basis for selecting the Consultant for this project. The proposal shall not exceed ten (10) double-sided pages. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
