Renovation of an educational facility in Lexington, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
he existing HVAC equipment, as indicated in project documents, is at the end of its statistical life expectancy and has become maintenance intensive. The C ollege is requesting a cost to remove several existing mezzanine units (refer to plans) and replace with a single unit. The contractor shall be responsible for coordinating the removal and replacement of all listed rooftop units as well as modifications t o ductwork, electrical service and control integration . Once installed, the equipment shall be air balan ce and performance tested by a NEBB certified TAB agent; reports indicating airflow test, coil performance and details shall be provided for review by Owner prior to closeout . In a ddition, building BAS will be updated outside of plant with several new VAV units installed to improve temperature control. Bidders shall be a NC Licensed Mechanical Contractor or a NC Licensed General Contractor. HUB certified contractors are encouraged to submit a bid for this project. Submit all questions in writing via email to jcurrie@cmta.com prior to February 3, 2022 The laws of North Carolina and applicable regulati ons of licensing boards will be observed in receiving bids and awarding the contract. Rowan-Cabarrus Community College reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities.
