**As of March 2, 2022 This project is already awarded to Bell's Air Conditioning & Heating with the awarded amount of $40,740.70. The City of Ingleside is looking to replace the Fire Department Bay radiant space heaters. We are requesting BIDs for this work to be completed. The following are required items for the proposed heater replacements: e Existing radiant space heaters are approx. 20' in length e There are six (6) heaters total e Existing heaters are set up with four (4) heaters on a vent manifold system with thermostat and two (2) on a separate vent manifold system with thermostat e Base bid is for the four (4) heaters with "like-for-like" replacement : Add Alt #01 will be for the two (2) heaters with "like-for-like" replacement This Add Alt must be submitted with the bid but is broken out due to possible budgetary restraints The current heaters are Space-Ray heaters. BIDs allowed to have different manufacturer of heaters, but any proposed heater must be of equivalent or higher standard than existing. Existing gas supply and vent piping in good working order. BID to include the replacement of the heating units only. All vendors are responsible for site and field verifications and ensuring that proposed materials meet City of Ingleside's acceptance and approval. Scope must be followed but recommendations for additional and/or modifications to the scope for better value or cost savings will be considered and evaluated by the City of Ingleside. All permits are required to be pulled with the City of Ingleside. The service charge will be waived for the awarded vendor on this project.
