Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Ingleside, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
Scope of Work for Informal BID Request Remove and replace metal siding and roofing material color blue/grey Remove and replace all gutters and downspouts Remove and replace storm shutters on windows color white Remove front and back doors and replace with double swing French style doors Reflash roofing to siding Reflash all roof penetrations with appropriate boots and flashing materials All work must be windstorm certified and a WPI-1 must be submitted Install faux stone veneer around building at a height of 48" color grey/white/blue Colors scheme to be grey and blue, all colors and materials must have approved submittals prior to materials order/acceptance by the City of Ingleside. Project BID to close on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at 4:00 PM. BIDs will be opened at this time and contract to be issued the following week. Project completion deadline will be set for end of April 2022. Contract will be awarded mid-January 2022. Please keep this in mind when submitting BIDs. This will be a required deadline on the contract. Drawings and details are provided from original building construction in 1975. All vendors are responsible for site and field verifications and ensuring that proposed materials meet current windstorm and energy code. Scope must be followed but recommendations for additional and/or modifications to the scope for better value or cost savings will be considered and evaluated by the City of Ingleside. City of Ingleside requires Vendor to provide proof of and hold throughout project the following insurance requirements: Public Liability Insurance - $1M, Worker's Compensation Insurance, Automobile Liability Insurance - S1M All permits are required to be pulled with the City of Ingleside. The service charge will be waived for the awarded vendor on this project. With the limited funding resources and the limited material resources, the City is requesting an additional alternative bid. It is the Cities intent to update the Garden Center and continue to utilize this facility as a rental unit. The exterior and interior of the building need repair. This bid is for the exterior and while it may not be cost effective to replace the metal siding and roofing material as advertised in the original renovation proposal, it is feasible to repair the existing. With this basis, consideration will be given for the best method of repairing the exterior of this metal building. Re-seal and/or replace existing metal siding and roofing material as necessary Re-seal and/or replace all existing gutters and downspouts Repair existing storm shutters on windows as needed Remove existing front and back doors and replace with double swing French style doors Reflash roofing to siding Reflash all roof penetrations with appropriate boots and flashing materials Paint exterior with long-lasting exterior coating Colors siding blue/grey - Roof White - Shutters White Repair and paint exterior pergola - White All work must be windstorm certified and a WPI-1 must be submitted Install faux stone veneer around building at height of 3-4 feet with furring strips to metal siding - color-grey/white/blue/black Colors scheme to be grey and blue, all colors and materials must have approved submittals prior to materials order/acceptance by the City of Ingleside. Drawings and details are provided from original building construction in 1975. All vendors are responsible for site and field verifications and ensuring that proposed materials meet current windstorm and energy code.
