The Sherman Township board is seeking Lawn mowing bids for 2022 spring/summer season. The Board of Trustees has four separate properties that require Moving and trimming only (this includes around all tree's, headstones, roadways and hillsides with in the cemetery). Bidders are asked to indicate their bid per mowing services provided at each of the following properties. The desired height of grass is 2-1/2" - 3". Chance 189th street and Golden Road Linwood, KS 66052 Note: Approximate size is 1.5 acres that should be kept cleared of any grass clippings or debris after mowing. Sarcoxie 190th Street, 1/2 block south of Stillwell Note: Approximate size is 1.25 acres that should be kept cleared of any grass clippings or debris after mowing. Lenape 162nd & Woods Road Linwood, KS 66052 Note: Approximate size is 5.2 acres and is an active cemetery that should be kept cleared of any grass clippings or debris after mowing. Mt Sidney 192nd & Golden Road Linwood, KS 66052 Note: Approximate size is 4.9 acres and is an active cemetery that should be kept cleared of any grass clippings or debris after mowing. Contractor must be willing to submit a W9, insurance or bonded and sign an annual agreement/ contract with The Sherman Township Board of Trustees, requiring to fulfill all requirements of the contract. Final decision will be made no later than March 7th, 2022. The Sherman Township Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or choose the bid/bids with the most advantages to Sherman Township.
