The project consists of a major addition and associated renovations to École Saint-Joachim in La Broquerie, Manitoba. The new two storey building expansion of approximately 46,000 sf (4,250 sm) will be located east of the existing gymnasium and accommodate a new 16 classroom addition, gymnasium, science classroom, STEM classroom, new vocational area including both home economics and industrial arts and associated support/ancillary space. Work will include accompanying envelope and interior renovations to the existing school of approximately 9,300 sf (860 sm) to accommodate the expansion and associated tie-ins. The project scope will include a two portable classroom relocation on site to facilitate the new building addition and associated site development to address access, servicing and staff/visitor parking.
