The Rural Municipality of La Broquerie is pursuing quotations to construct a new asphalttopped pathway in Marchand, MB from Dobson Ave. to Marchand Park for a distance of 1620 metres and along the West side of Gueret Rd. from Tetrault Rd. North, for a distance of 805 metres. Scope of work will include: Walkway construction from Dobson Ave. to Marchand Park. Topsoil excavation. This work consists of clearing, grubbing, trimming, removing logs, limbs, branches, brush, plants, rocks and other vegetation within the walkway limits and complete removal off of RM right-of-way. Supply and install geotextile. Supply, place and compact 150mm of crushed "A" Base material. Supply and place and compact 50mm of asphalt for a 2m finished top. All waste material removal and utility locates are the responsibility of the contractor. Traffic control and supply of construction signs are the responsibility of the contractor. Topsoil edging Seeding The accepted bidder shall provide a 50% performance bond for the faithful performance of the work.
