Remove one (1) existing condensing units, one (1) existing air handling units and associated ductwork, electrical disconnects and refrigerant lines as indicated on the drawings. Demolition of existing block wall for installation of new outside air louver as indicated on the drawings. Removal and/or modification of existing ductwork to connect to new ductwork and diffusers as indicated on the drawings. Modification of existing wood doors and wood studs and gypsum board wall to receive new return air transfer grilles as indicated on the drawings, demolition of existing gypsum board celling for new access hatch. The State Highway Administration is soliciting bids for a qualified contractor to replace the HVAC system, due in part to vandalism and theft. In order to meet fresh air code requirements for ASHRAE, outside air is also being introduced air into the system. The project is located at the Administrations I-95 NB welcome center in Howard County, Laurel, MD 21026. The contractor is required to provide all labor and to furnish and install all materials shown on the drawings and to complete the project.
