The Town of Orono is seeking a turnkey solution to upgrade the existing A/V system in the Town Council Chambers. Some existing equipment may be re-purposed at the bidder's discretion in order to improve the cost-effectiveness of the proposed solution. The Town of Orono is seeking a turnkey solution to upgrade the existing A/V system in the Town Council Chambers. Some existing equipment may be re-purposed at the bidder's discretion in order to improve the cost-effectiveness of the proposed solution. The Town Council Chambers is approximately 64' x 48' with a maximum height of 12'. The room includes a dais with seating for up to nine people, two podiums for presenting to the dais, and an area at the north end of the room for a conference table that can seat 20 people. Audience capacity is 125 people. This is a Federally-funded project and successful proposals will address all State and Federal requirements, including, 41 CFR Part 60-1.4b, 2 CFR Part 200 (includes Davis-Bacon requirements for wages paid to be at or above prevailing wages), ADA, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
