The County of Sierra is ready to accept funding to implement the construction of a multi-purpose events building, an RV park and perimeter fence at the Sierra County Fairgrounds. The Multipurpose building will provide the ability to host larger events that will attract regional and statewide participants. The RV park will consist of approximately 30 hookups to accommodate visitors. The area is currently not secured by a perimeter fence. To increase security and define property boundaries, the construction of the fence is necessary. Furnishings and equipment may include portable livestock panels, chairs, tables, sound system and bleachers. Sierra County will comply with all procurement processes for the purchase, installation and construction of this project. The project is included in the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration FY 2023-2027 Infrastructure Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) .
