Sealed Bids are invited for: Base Bid: Construct new Asphalt Paved Surface over existing crushed aggregate path. Work includes construction of Pipe Underdrain and Park Signage. Minor grading and preparation of the existing aggregate path will be required, as well as edge top soiling and seeding along the new paved path. This project utilizes Davis-Bacon Wage Rates. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the Central Blair Recreation and Park Commission or Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, for ten (10 %) percent of the total Bid shall be submitted with each bid as guaranty that if the Proposal is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract and file Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bonds within ten (10) days after Contract award. The Central Blair Recreation and Park Commission, Owner, reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals and waives any formality or technicality in any Proposal in its interest.
