The City of Lake Worth Beach is soliciting bids from responsible and experienced contractors for the Re-Roof of City of Lake Worth Beach Utilities Complex at 1900 2nd Ave. N, Lake Worth Beach, FL 33461. All Bidders shall have a Bidding System Vendor account and be registered as a Plan Taker for this Bid opportunity, which will enable the Bidders to download the Bid Call Document, to receive Addenda email notifications and download all documents without the watermark "preview" on them. To ensure receipt of the latest information and updates via email regarding this bid, or if a Bidder has obtained this Bid Document from a third party, the onus is on the Bidder to create a Bidding System Vendor account and be register as a Plan Taker for the bid opportunity. Bids shall be placed in a sealed envelope, marked with the bid number, title, date, and hour bids are scheduled to be received. All persons or entities responding to the IFB (hereafter "Bidders") are responsible for ensuring that their bid is received by the City at its' designated office address by the deadline indicated in the IFB. SUBJECT LINE MUST BE IDENTIFIED AS IFB # 22-104 City of Lake Worth Beach Utilities Complex Re-Roofing Project All questions must be in writing submitted on lakeworthbeachfl.bidsandtenders.net or purchasing1@lakeworthbeachfl.gov before February 8, 2022 at 4 p.m. Bids must be accompanied by a copy of Bid Security in the form of a certified or bank check made payable to the Owner, or a Bid Bond. The amount of the security shall not be less than five (5) percent of the Bidder's total price indicated in Bid Form. Bidder must be able to deliver original Bid Bond immediately after the bid opening if requested by the City. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the scheduled closing date for the receipt of bids except as otherwise provided in Article 13 of the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder, who is awarded the Contract, shall be required to furnish a 100% Construction Performance Bond and a 100% Construction Payment Bond which meet the requirements of section 255.05, Florida Statutes. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive all nonmaterial irregularities, to re-advertise, and to cancel any invitation to bid when it is in the best interests of the City.
