Construction Cost Range: $200,000-$300,000 Replace existing ballfield lighting fixtures with new LED fixtures that have already been ordered through state contract. The Town of Cheraw is looking for a licensed electrical contractor to provide new electrical service panels as well to the six ballfields in question which will take place at Arrowhead Park in Cheraw.

licensed electrical contracting companies experienced with the investigation, planning, modeling,
design, permitting and construction administration services for:
o The Town of Cheraw has received a grant to purchase and replace old lighting fixtures
with new LED lighting system for six ballfields. The Town has purchased the new light
fixtures from Border States who will be supplying 48 (QTY) CPS-SLR-450B-57K-3-B-SF-D2
Sports Lighter with controls and 90 (QTY) CPS-SLR-450B-57K-3-B-SF-DO Sports Lighter
without controls. A total of 138 light fixtures. These are Modular Sports Lighter
fixtures. The fixtures with controls will have to be programmed via help from CPS
Controls Rep via phone conference onsite with Contractor. The 48 with controls will be
for the football and soccer fields. If you have any questions about the fixtures being

o The light fixtures are not expected to be delivered until after April 24, 2022 and the
contractor awarded the job will work with the Town to determine the best schedule to
undertake the project so as not to interfere with Town activities taking place on the
fields (baseball and softball).
o Remove existing, furnish and install new 480 volt, 3 phase, 200 amp NEMA 3R electrical
service panels located within ten (10) feet of existing utility transformer.
o Tie in existing branch circuits to each pole and new control panel.
o Obtain all required and appropriate Permits and Licenses.
o Remove all existing fixtures from six (6) fields. Equipment to be left on site for disposal
by others
