Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), all labor, tools, materials, equipment, parts, travel, and incidentals necessary to provide emergency and routine identification and removal of hazardous wastes and/or materials (including but not limited to: underground tanks, containers, drums pipes, appurtenances, chemicals, hazardous substances, spilled materials, contaminated surfaces, contaminated water, contaminated soil, or other subsurface or above grade structures and materials) discovered within the limits of the State right of way during the term of this Agreement, as described herein. The scope of work specifically does not include identification and removal of hazardous waste and/or materials caused by or generated at vehicular collisions, accidents, and highway spills. A.
