Renovation of a municipal facility in Appleton, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Requesting bids for a contractor to provide all materials and labor to renovate an existing space into a new mailroom at the County's Government Complex in Appleton. The scope of work includes wall additions and modifications, casework, the creation of an exterior entrance and an exterior concrete ADA ramp including all items listed in the project manual. Reference the following for drawings and project scope (project manual): "Mailroom Manual 2-20-22" 2 pages. Drawings in this manual are not to scale and are only intended to show project intent. Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor and materials needed to complete the project. In addition to the project manual, the follow items shall also be included in the scope of work: The building will be occupied by county staff from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. Contractor may work throughout the business day, however the contractor must make efforts to minimize disruptions for the occupants. Very noisy activities such as hammer drilling shall be performed outside of normal county business hours whenever possible. To aid in minimizing disruptions to the buildings occupants, contractor shall not start project until all supplies are available to complete the project. Once started the contractor shall work full consecutive days throughout the workweek for the duration of the project in order to minimize any disruptions. Parking is very limited. The County will make room for a small dumpster and needed equipment near the work location, however contractors will be required to park on nearby street parking rather than in the courtyard or county parking lots. Contractor shall provide the County with a project schedule at least 5 days before starting work. Contractors must follow any County Covid-19 requirements including wearing face covering, daily temperature checks, daily health survey, daily sign in and any other federal, state or local requirements. Contractor is responsible for all permits associated with the project. All work must meet all manufactures recommended installation guild lines or requirements. Work shall also meet all local code requirements. Site clear all project related debris and keep worksite clean and safe. Provide a one year parts and labor warranty. Perform start up and testing of the complete new system. Site clear all components from the old system. Provide a one year parts and labor warranty for new equipment.
