Project Descriptions: A new single-story soccer locker room facility, containing approximately 2,000 square feet. The Work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition, site clearing, earthwork, termite control, chain link fences and gates, lawns and grasses, cast-in-place concrete, cementitious wood fiber deck, unit masonry assemblies, structural steel, steel joists, cold formed metal framing, metal fabrications, steel handrails and railings, miscellaneous carpentry, interior architectural woodwork, building insulation, spray polyurethane foam insulation and air barrier system, open cell spray polyurethane foam insulation, exterior insulation and finish systems, metal roof panels, thermoplastic single ply membrane roofing, sheet metal flashing and trim, manufactured roof specialties, roof accessories, firestopping, joint sealants, standard steel doors and frames, access doors and frames, aluminum-framed entrances and storefronts, aluminum windows, door hardware, glazing, gypsum sheathing, gypsum board assemblies, resilient wall base and accessories, painting, visual display boards, toilet compartments, interior and exterior signs, fire protection specialties, protective covers, toilet accessories, projection screens, roller shades, HVAC & plumbing systems, electrical (power, communication, and lighting) systems, and complete clean-up and removal of construction debris. Check covering deposit shall be made payable to the order of the Henderson County Schools Board of Education. All mailing charges (non-refundable), if required, are to be arranged in advance with and paid directly to Maco-Evansville Blue with a separate check. Electronic copies of the plans will be available and shall be arranged with and paid for directly to Maco-Evansville Blue (non-refundable). Subcontractors not listed above and material suppliers may purchase complete sets of Bid Documents at a cost of Two Hundred Dollars per set, non-refundable, or obtain electronic copies as detailed above. Partial sets of documents are not available. Deposits will be refunded to contractors who submit a bona fide proposal to the Owner (directly or through a prime contractor) and return the documents, in an acceptable and reusable condition within ten days of the opening of the bids No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days there from. The scoring of bids/proposals is subject to Reciprocal preference for Kentucky resident bidders and Preferences for a Qualified Bidder. Please refer to specification section 00450. The Owner reserves the right to determine the ability of any bidder to perform the work, and upon the request of the Owner, any bidder shall furnish such information as may be required to make this determination The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bids received where such acceptance, rejection or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the Owner and to reject any bid where evidence of information submitted by the bidder does not satisfy the Owner that the Bidder is qualified to carry out the details of the Contract Documents.
