CONTRACT 22-04 - 18-INCH AND 16-INCH WATER TRANSMISSION LINES AND 16-INCH FORCE MAIN. o 4,638 L.F. of 16-inch Force Main o 2,629 L.F. of 18-Inch Water Line o 3,877 L.F. of 16-Inch Water Line o 145 L.F. of 28-Inch Casing Pipe for Bored Crossing of South Green Street o 120 L.F. of 28-Inch Casing Pipe for Open-Cut Crossing of Old Corydon Road o One (1) Fire Hydrant o One (1) Air Release Valve. The allotted time for construction of Contract 22-04 is 120 calendar days. Liquidated damages for non-completion are $1,000 per calendar day. Bid bond, City Occupational License, and other requirements apply to bidders. City Occupational License, and other requirements apply to bidders. The successful bidder or bidders shall be required to furnish both an acceptable performance bond and payment bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to negotiate with the apparent qualified best bidder or bidders to such extent as may be necessary. No bidder may withdraw his bid for 90 days, while the Owner considers the bids. Mutually agreed upon time extensions may be made if necessary.
