Renovation of a residential development in Bristol, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
City of Bristol invites qualified firms to submit a bid for professional contractor services for the Hurricane Loss Mitigation Program to complete wind retrofits on homes located within the City of Bristol. All wind retrofit activity will be based on the current building code. Wind retrofit services may include but are not limited to door replacement, roof enhancement, fascia/soffit repair, window replacement, foundation anchoring, strapping of all roof attachments, gable bracing and shutter installation. Each residential home will have its own scope of work and contractors must bid on the entire project. The contractor must have a proven track record, extensive experience, hold a State of Florida Certified Building Contractors License and register with the local Building Department. The City of Bristol reserves the right to reject any and all bids received and to waive any and all minor irregularities or informalities in any bid. The City of Bristol encourages Small Business Entities, Women Owned Businesses and Minority Business Enterprises to respond to this Bid Invitation.
