Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Laredo, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,580-square-foot elderly care / assisted living facility.
The City of Laredo has established a local vendor preference ordinance 2018-O-175. All informal and formal Requests for bids for contracts will be evaluated with a 5% preference for local vendors. The purpose of this project is to replace existing shower with an all tile walk-in shower. Replace vanity, commode, and faucets and complete floor tile. Modify door by making it wider. Replace old and out dated HVAC unit. Contractor before installation will conduct manual J. Make proper plumbing connections to the washer drainpipe. Work shall include, but not limited to demolition and removal of the debris, materials, tools, supervision and all other work to perform this project. This project is approximately 1,580 square feet building area in size. Contractor shall have 30 calendar days to complete the project in its entirety. Any request for extension of the project completion date shall be in writing and submitted to the Municipal Housing Supervisor in a timely manner prior to the scheduled completion date.
