Renovation of a water / sewer project in Cornwall, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Wastewater Treatment Plant houses a multitude of heavy equipment such as pumps, motors and large valves that need to be serviced regularly. Many of these pieces of equipment are in areas such as basements and enclosed spaces limiting the options for safely rigging the equipment. In these circumstances lifting beams are an optimal solution to complete the work safely. In 2021 a structural engineering study was completed detailing locations for the required lifting beams. With this study, a drawing set of the lifting beams and structural specification was created. We now need to fabricate and install the lifting beams as detailed in the structural engineering package.
