Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Anthony, New Mexico. Design plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
An Archaeological and Environmental study will be done along with a plan to design and construct a new 2.0 Million Gallon water storage tank. For the City of Anthony, Dona Ana County is owned and operated by Anthony Water & Sanitation District. the number of connections that Anthony Water & Sanitation District has, we are short of storage capacity in case there was a fire in the community. Request for engineering services have been advertised and once the design is complete and funding for construction is acquired, Bids for construction will be solicited. The project is included in the city's 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of April 21, 2022, a design engineer has been selected. No firm timeline has been established for the construction. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
