Site work and new construction of a fitness / recreation center in Cuba, New Mexico. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a fitness / recreation center; and for site work for a fitness / recreation center.

This project will include planning, design and construction of building to serve the Youth Activities Programs for the Torreon/Star Lake Chapter Community. Phase I: Land Survey, EA and Arch. is complete for this project. Phase II is the Plan/Design of the building. The size and type will be determined in the planning. Phase III is the construction/HVAC/furnishing of the Facility. The size and type of the Youth Center will be determined during Phase II - the planning and design as well as the necessary equipment needed for the center. Equipment will include pool table, exercise equipment, table and chairs, and commercial grade kitchen appliances. Torreon/Star Lake Chapter will use the Navajo Nation procurement policies to purchase all equipment needed The Navajo Nation will own and be the fiscal agent for the project. The Torreon/Star Lake Chapter will operate the Center. Project is included New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration FY 2023-2027 Infrastructure Capital Improvement Plan CIP.
