The NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH) and the Rochester Psychiatric Center are seeking to procure, through an Invitation for Bid (IFB), a Contractor to provide Chiller #1 Pumps Replacement at the Rochester Psychiatric Center, located at 1111 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620. It is the intention of OMH that this solicitation will result in a one-time purchase agreement, awarded to the lowest bidder in response the IFB, for the purchase of new pumps and associated components, removal of the existing equipment, and the installation of the new equipment.Interested vendors should carefully review the attached IFB document, which contains both the Scope of Work (pp. 1-2) and the Attachment D - Bid Quote Sheet (pp. 26-27); vendors must use the Bid Quote Sheet to submit a bid. Contractor will be responsible to support facility in this activity. o Demo existing chilled water pump/motor skid & 2 - 8-inch OSY rising stem isolation valves closest to the pump. o Demo out suction strainer, check valve & associated piping between the 2 - 8-inch isolation valves & suction/discharge side of pump. o Furnish & install the following: o Manufacturer: Bell & Gossett pump, Model # eHCS-5x6x9, split core, 900 GPM @ 45 ft, 15 HP 1800 RPM 230/460-volt 3-phase motor o 2 - 8-inch OSY rising stem isolation gate valve closest to the pump o 1 - 8-inch suction strainer 125# o 1 - 8-inch silent check valve & associated fittings & piping to connect the pump suction & discharge between the new isolation valving. o Install new pump section & discharge valve pressure gauges. o Install new differential pressure switch for pump control, connecting tubing, land the electrical connection & verify proper operation. o Insulate new piping to match existing insulation in area. o Provide new insulated pump box for the pump. o Contractor is responsible for disconnecting & reconnecting of pump electrical connections. o Contractor will assist with refilling & venting of the new pump. o Contractor is responsible for pump startup & system testing of the pump. o Contractor is responsible for disposal of all old equipment and cleanup. o Contractor will provide all warranty information to the customer. B. Condenser Water Pump CWP-1 replacement: o Coordinate shutdown schedule with site facility. o Facility to provide isolation & system draining for demo & installation. Contractor will be responsible to support facility in this activity. o Demo existing condenser pump/motor skid and 2 - 10-inch OSY rising stem gate valves closest to the pump. o Demo out suction strainer, check valve & associated piping between the 2 - 10-inc isolation valves and suction/discharge side of pump. o Furnish & install the following: o Manufacturer: Bell & Gossett pump, Model# eVSX-VSH-6x8x13.5B, split core, 1350 GPM @ 100ft, 50 HP 1800 RPM 230/460-volt 3-phase motor o 2 - 10-inch OSY isolation valves closest to the pumps o 1 - 10-inch suction strainer 125# o 1 - 10-inch silent check valve & associate pipe & fitting to connect to both the suction & discharge side of the pumps o Provide new motor starter contactor & breaker for both chilled water & condenser pumps. o Install new pump suction & discharge pressure gauges. o Install new differential pressure switch for pump control, connecting tubing, land electrical connections & verify proper operation. o Contractor is responsible for disconnecting & reconnecting of pump electrical connections. o Contractor will assist with refilling & venting of the new pump. o Contractor is responsible for startup & performance testing of the pump. o Contractor is responsible for disposal of all old equipment & cleanup. o Contractor will provide all warranty information to customer.
